KKR Vs KXIP Match 6 IPL 2019
Kings XI Punjab won the toss and opted to bowl first in the 6th match of IPL 2019.
Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, and Andre Russell guided the Kolkata Knight Riders to a 28 runs victory over the King XI Punjab in the sixth game of the Indian Premier League 2019. After being sent to the fight by the Kings XI, KKR had a nerve start after losing Chris Lynn early. It was soon followed by Sunil Narine, who crushed 24 runs at the opening over of Varun Chakravarthy’s score.
But Robin Uthappa made 67 runs on 50 balls and Nitish Rana scores 63 runs on 34 balls. They built a 110 runs partnership to accelerate things for their team. Uthappa hit six fours and two Sixes during his invincibility while Rana hit two fours and seven maximums. Andre Russell then provided the perfect finish to the sleeves with his Tourbillon of 48 balls on 17 balls.
Russell took Andrew Tye and Mohammad Shami to the cleaners, in particular, to boost the final total to 218. In response, Kings XI Punjab lost KL Rahul and Chris Gayle, who went without too disturbing the scorers. Sarfaraz Khan soon followed the openers and Kings XI was reduced to 60/3 in 7.3 overs. Mayank Agarwal made 58 runs on 34 balls and David Miller 59 runs out of 40 balls. Agarwal was cleaned by Chawla and at one point King XI needed 57 runs in 12 balls. Kings XI gathered 190 runs on the board in 20 overs. With the victory of 28 runs, KKR is now on the top of the table.
