Kolkata Vs Delhi Match 26 Result IPL 2019
Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first in the 26th match of IPL 2019.
Shikhar Dhawan scored undefeated 97 runs on 63 balls to help the Delhi to have a 7 wickets win over Kolkata. Dhawan added 105 runs for the third partnership with Rishabh Pant, who scored 46 runs on 31 balls. Pant fell on the first ball of the 18th over with Delhi needing only 17 runs out of 17 balls. Colin Ingram then joined Dhawan and the duo brought his team home. Ingram seals the match with a six.
At the beginning of the 19th over, Delhi required 12 runs. He scored a single off the first ball before Ingram crushed a limit before taking one. With six points to make and four for his personal goal, Dhawan could only manage one before Ingram sealed the match to the next ball. A little earlier, Shubman Gill 65 runs on 39 balls and Russell 45 runs on 21 runs helped Kolkata after 178-6.
Joe Denly, who played his first game of the season, fell for a golden duck against Ishant Sharma in the first ball of the match. Gill and Robin Uthappa then added 63 for the second wicket to build the sleeves. But it was once again left to Russell’s form to guide Kolkata to a grand total, which smashed three fours and four sixes.
