Junaid Khan Picks his All-Time Best Pakistan T20 XI
Pakistan, one of the most successful teams in this format since the inception of T20 cricket in 2006, has produced a number of great players in 20-over cricket. Pakistani fast bowler Junaid Khan has been named the Pakistan all-time best T20 XI, comprising six batsmen, three pacers, and three spinners.
Saeed Anwar, who has never played 20-over cricket, has been named in Junaid’s XI, while Babar Azam has been included with Saeed Anwar as the opener. Junaid’s explanation for keeping Saeed Anwar in the XI is that his attacking batting is suitable for all formats.
Junaid Khan’s choice of three and four all-rounders Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik, both of whom have no place to question. Both have scored more than 2,000 runs for Pakistan, relying on Pakistan’s batting line-up for a long time. Mohammad Rizwan and Umar Akmal have been named expert batsmen in the XI.
Shahid Afridi’s place was definitely there, the only expert spinner in the XI was Saeed Ajmal. Junaid Khan’s choice in the pace attack is former 3 pacers Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Umar Gul.
