Jasprit Bumrah Creates History with His Amazing Spell

Jasprit Bumrah on Sunday further strengthened his reputation with a sensational and historic spell against the West Indies in the first try. India beat the West Indies by 318 points to take a zero lead in the two-game series. Bumrah was the star of the show, winning a sensational five-wicket race to help India win the match.

After setting an essential goal of 419 points, India beat the West Indies by only 100 points and win the match by 318 points and record their biggest away win. Bumrah shook the upper order, attacking the stumps relentlessly in a devastating spell. He made his first breakthrough when Kraigg Brathwaite opened the scoring for the primary goal.

A few minutes later, the West Indies lost five points for only 15 points. Jasprit Bumrah received excellent support from his leading teammate Ishant Sharma, who finished with 3 of 31 points. Kemar Roach gave some respectability in total. Roach made three-on-one against turkey-Sadr went Ravindra Jadeja and scored the West Indies’ first goal with 38.

Jasprit Bumrah, however, entered the record books with his fourth throw of five carries on the tests. He became the first Indian launcher to carry five carries to Australia, England, South Africa and the West Indies. He is the first Asian bowler to run five box office races in these four countries.

He claimed 5/54 against South Africa in the Johannesburg Test before organising a similar exhibition at Trent Bridge against England, where he recorded the figures of 5/85. Towards the end of 2018, he resumed 6/33 against Australia in Melbourne.

“I feel great, ” said Jasprit Bumrah after his sensational spell.

“My delivery takes much work. I used to play against the winger a little earlier, but the more Test matches I played, the more I could trust my opponent,” he added.
