Ishant Sharma breaks Kapil Dev record to take first place on the list of Indian pacers with the most Test wickets outside Asia. Ishant sent Jahmar Hamilton back to the pavilion in the first rounds of the West Indies to break the legendary Kapil Dev record. Ishant now has 156 wickets outside of Asia in test cricket. He was just a foot away from Kapil before this test match. Incidentally, Ishant, and Kapil took the same number of tries (45) to reach their benchmarks.
