ICC Considering Alternative Arrangements For T20 World Cup 2021

The ICC considering alternative arrangements for the T20 World Cup 2021 if India fails to host it in the end. The T20 World Cup 2021 Live Streaming is scheduled to be held in October-November this year, but the second wave of Covid-19 has hit India now. The BCCI is returning to the IPL 2021  after the recent return of international cricket to India, but the situation has become more complicated with the Covid-19 situation. On March 8, about 1 lakh 15 thousand people were infected with Covid-19 in India.

Speaking to the media, Allardyce said of the ICC’s alternative thinking for the T20 World Cup, “Yes, we have alternative plans. However, we have not started implementing them at the moment, as we are preparing to host in India as per the schedule. We are working with the BCCI on various aspects of the event, but when the time comes, we will move towards alternative plans. ”

The first World Test Championship Final is currently under the watch of the ICC. The India-New Zealand match is scheduled to be played in Southampton, England from June 18 to 22. Allardyce thinks there is enough time for the T20 World Cup, “We have not come close to the scheduled time yet.

We have several months to see the situation before we see how cricket is going at the moment. The final of the Test Championship is coming up in a couple of months, but it is a challenge for us, even if it is for two teams. At the moment, our plan is to move forward with the two teams. ”

The ICC is not in a position to force all parties to do so, despite the introduction of the Covid-19 vaccine in various countries. For now, they have advised everyone to take it as soon as possible.
