Eoin Morgan Admits the Result of World Cup 2019 was Unfair

Almost a week since the England cricket team won its first cup by beating New Zealand in the final, England cricket team skipper Eoin Morgan said he felt the result was not fair. Speaking about the controversial outcome of the 2019 World Cup tournament, Eoin Morgan felt that the result was not fair when there was so little to separate England and New Zealand in the final. He said

“I don’t think it’s fair to have a result like that when there’s very little between the two sides,” Furthermore, Morgan added: “I don’t think there’s a time when you could say, ”It cost the game there it was pretty balanced”. I’m black and white. I’ll normally say, “I know. I was there, it happened. ‘But I can’t pinpoint the point at which the game was won and lost.’

However, the decisive point of the match came in the final against England when Martin Guptill’s shot off deflected off Ben Stokes gave England four more points. But Eoin Morgan doesn’t think it made it any easier for him. He said:

“I’m not sure that winning makes it easier,” he said. “A little [troubled], because there is no decisive moment when you would say: ” Yes, we deserved it. “It just went crazy.” “I’ve spoken to Kane [Williamson] over the last few days several times and none of us have given a rational explanation as to the different times we gave him the game and they gave it back to us. Like me, he can’t understand everything. “
