Dream XI will be the title sponsor of the IPL 2020
Dream XI will be the title sponsor of the IPL 2020 to be held in the United Arab Emirates in September. The Board of Control for Cricket in India finalized the ‘Dream XI’ on Tuesday. The contract is worth around 250 crore.
Earlier, IPL had a deal with Chinese company Vivo. But Vivo was forced to withdraw in the face of criticism of the Indo-China conflict on the border. In 2016, ‘Vivo’ got the main sponsorship of IPL for five years for Rs 2,199 crore. According to the agreement, Vivo was supposed to be the main sponsor of the IPL this year as well.
Brijesh Patel, chairman of the IPL Governing Council, has confirmed that Dream XI has won the title race. The agreement between BCCI and Dream XI will be valid from August 16 to December 31 this year.
