Dinesh Karthik Responds to BCCI Notice After CPL 2019 Act

Dinesh Karthik, the wicket keeper’s batsman, responds to BCCI after CPL 2019 and apologized unconditionally to BCCI for his appearance in the 2019 Caribbean Premier League. Under the central contract with BCCI, no active first-class cricketer can join a franchise league except IPL. Karthik responded to BCCI’s email notification on September 6. “First of all, I want to state that I did not participate in any race at Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR),” Karthik wrote.

“I would like to apologize unconditionally for not asking BCCI for permission to embark on this visit. I sincerely ask that this oversight be excused”.
