Chris Gayle turns 40, cricket fraternity showers heartfelt birthday wishes

Warm birthday wishes for Stalwart Chris Gayle of the West Indies of the entire cricket fraternity when the left-hander turns 40 today. From legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar to flamboyant hitter Yuvraj Singh, everyone used their Twitter accounts to share their wishes with the ‘Head of the Universe’ on their special day.

When he posted a photo with Gayle, India’s former cricketer, Yuvraj, wrote, “Happy birthday, Kaka can’t believe I’m missing your 40th @henrygayle I have a night to remember 40ShadesOfGayle.”

“Happy Birthday Brother… It was always a pleasure to play cricket with you … have a good year ahead of you, Gayle-storm!” Tweeted Shikhar Dhawan.

Resonating his Indian Premier League camaraderie, K L Rahul shared a photo and wrote: “Happy Birthday @henrygayle Don’t Blush Boss. I wish you many more legends.”

Harbhajan Singh also wanted the West Indies power hitter, “Happy Birthday Player @henrygayle”

Gayle is the West Indies’ all-time top scorer in ODI with 10,480-runs from 301 games. He had made his international debut at ODI in 1999 against India in Toronto. He has registered 25 hundred and 54 years in ODI cricket.
