Chennai Vs Delhi Qualifier 2 IPL 2019
Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first in the Qualifier 2 match of IPL 2019.
The half-centuries of FAF du Plessis and Shane Watson propelled the Chennai Super Kings to their eighth IPL 2019 finals. With 148 to win, Chennai gets 81 runs opening partnership between du Plessis and Watson to cross the finish line. The team led by MS Dhoni played a clash for the title against the Indians of Mumbai, who defeated Chennai in the first qualifying match earlier this week.
The South African captain crushed his 12th IPL 50, including seven fours and a six. Watson reached his half-century with Keemo Paul. The Chennai bowlers led by Dwayne Bravo set up a solid platform for victory after limiting Delhi to 147 for nine. Bravo returned impressive numbers from 2 to 19 of his four overs. He was well supported by fellow countryman Deepak Chahar, the spinners Harbhajan Singh and Ravindra Jadeja, both of whom claimed two wickets.
