Brisbane Heat Acquire Services of Amelia Kerr, Women Big Bash League
Brisbane Heat has acquired the services of New Zealand’s all-rounder Amelia Kerr for the upcoming season of the Women’s Big Bash League 2019. Amelia Kerr Sign Brisbane Heat, it is also the club’s first international signing before the new season.

Many White Ferns players have had the opportunity to play in the WBBL and I know it is highly appreciated all over the world. Now I have the opportunity to play and I’m sure it will be a great experience. I’ve seen it regularly at home and was seriously impressed by the way the Heat won the title last year, the all-rounder Amelia Kerr added.
All-rounder Amelia Kerr, 18, made his T20I debut for New Zealand in 2016 against Pakistan and returned with impressive 16/3 figures on his inaugural departure. She has appeared in 24 T20I games so far and has collected 23 wickets, averaging 22.52 in an economy of fewer than 6runs and more. She also showed that her bat credentials were launched on a record spree in June 2018, breaking Belinda Clark’s 21-year record for the highest individual score in women’s cricket, breaking an undefeated 232 against Ireland.
