BCCI Wants Full Spectators in the T20 World Cup 2021 Final

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, various tournaments of the sports world were being held in the empty gallery. After observing the Corona situation, different countries have taken initiative to return visitors to the gallery one by one. Visitors can also be seen in the gallery of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 Final. The Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI, the organizer, is keen to keep full spectators on T20 World Cup 2021 final, even though 100% of the visitors could not enter the gallery.

The venue of the T20 World Cup has been shifted from India to the United Arab Emirates due to the coronavirus epidemic. Despite the change of venue, the BCCI is acting as the organizer. The postponed venue of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is being held at the same venue before the World Cup. The UAE government has allowed spectators to play in the IPL on a trial basis to return spectators to the World Cup.

The UAE has conditionally allowed a maximum of 5,000-6,000 spectators to enter the IPL matches gallery. However, the spectators have to follow different rules across the field. Visitors are not allowed to enter the field unless they have been vaccinated with two doses. Also in some cases, the results of the corona test have to be displayed.

The BCCI and the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) will seek permission to allow 100 percent of spectators to enter the final of the T20 World Cup as spectators have been able to enter the field without hindrance so far. The matter has been confirmed by the Indian news media ANI.

They said the BCCI and the Emirates Cricket Board would seek permission to admit 25,000 spectators to the World Cup final. The BCCI also hopes that the stadium will be able to accommodate 50 percent of its capacity in other World Cup matches.

The upcoming T20 World Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 16 this year. The T20 World Cup will return to the field with the spectators. This year’s event will be screened through the final at the Dubai International Stadium on November 14 this year.
