BCCI is Planning To Host the T20 World Cup 2021 At 9 Venues

This time it was learned that BCCI is planning to host T20 World Cup in 9 venues. Officials of the respective venues have been asked to prepare for this. The final decision will be made considering the Corona situation. The BCCI is planning to host the T20 World Cup 2021 at 9 venues, despite having heard of six venues before.

The venues are Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dharamsala, and Lucknow. “Nine venues have been asked to be ready,” an official said after a BCCI meeting on Friday. Everyone has been asked to make all kinds of preparations keeping in mind the Corona situation through the meeting. In fact, it is not possible to say now what the situation will be like in October-November. However, there is no point in stopping the preparation.

As the day goes on, the T20 World Cup is coming forward. The International Cricket Council (ICC) does not want to postpone this year’s event in India, even though the event was not held in Australia last year due to a coronavirus outbreak.

If not possible in India, the ICC plans to hold the event in the UAE. However, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said the World Cup would be held in India. It was already known that India was desperate to host the World Cup. The country is also preparing for the IPL.
