BCCI May Hire Grant Luden Former Head Coach of Pakistan
BCCI, Board of Control of Cricket in India may hire Grant Luden former Head Coach of Pakistan. According to sources from the BCCI, Grant Luden is among the candidates who have been shortlisted for the second round of interviews.
The selection committee decided to call the following candidates for the NCA Field Coach position for a second round of interviews to assess their practical skills. Candidates include Mr. Luke Woodhouse, Mr. Grant Luden, Mr. Rajnikanth Sivagnanam, Mr. Nick Webb and Mr. Anand.
The interview process, conducted by the Senior Selection Committee of all India, which completes the candidates for the second round.
The Senior Selection Committee from across India met at BCCI headquarters in Mumbai to conduct the interview process to select support staff from Team India. The five-member committee composed of Mr. MSK Prasad (Chairman), Mr. Sarandeep Singh, Mr. Gagan Khoda and Mr. Jatin Paranjape listen to the process in person, whereas Mr. Devang Gandhi attended by video conference.
Grant Luden’s nomination for the second round of interviews was the result of an extensive four-day process involving many candidates for various roles.
As of Monday, a total of 14 candidates for the position of Batting Coach, 12 for Bowl coach, nine for Field Coach, 16 for the position of Physiotherapist, 12 for the position of Fitness Coach and 24 for the position of Manager to they were interviewed The whole process lasted four days and concluded on Thursday night.
