BCCI Assured Visas For Pakistan Players For T20 World Cup 2021
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Joy Shah has confirmed that Pakistan players have been granted visas by the Indian government to play in the T20 World Cup 2021. However, the BCCI has not yet made a decision on granting visas to the country’s supporters.
Uncertainty was created with the visas of Pakistani cricketers. That is why the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took refuge in the ICC. Pakistan also got the result. Indian news agency PTI quoted a member of the BCCI’s Apex Council as saying that Joy Shah had assured the council meeting on Friday that Pakistanis would not have any problem with visas.
“The visa issue for the Pakistan cricket team has been resolved,” he said. However, it is not yet clear whether fans will be able to cross the border to watch the game. This decision will be taken in time. But we assured the ICC that it would be resolved. The secretary made this announcement in today’s meeting. ”
The T20 World Cup is going to be held on Indian soil in October-November this year. However, the hostile relations between India and Pakistan created uncertainty over Pakistan’s T20 World Cup. However, overcoming that uncertainty, there was no obstacle for Pakistani cricketers to go to India to play in the World Cup.
