Babar Azam Moves Up To 2nd Position in ICC T20 Batsmen Rankings

Babar Azam topped the ICC ODI rankings a few days ago, surpassing Virat Kohli. After snatching the throne of ODIs, this time the Pakistan captain is gradually leaving the Indian captain behind in T20 banking as well. Babar Azam moves up to 2nd position in the latest ICC T20 Batsmen rankings. With that, he took the gap with Kohli one step further. Kohli is still at number 5 in the list of T20 batsmen.

As usual, England’s David Malan is at the top. Finch slipped to number three, leaving Babur in place. Devon Conway is in the top four. Kohli retained his place, but Lokesh Rahul, another Indian, fell one step further in the top ten of the batsmen’s list. He dropped from number six to number seven.

It is to be noted that Babar Azam is number one in the list of ICC ODI batsmen at the moment. Virat Kohli is at number two. In the list of Test batsmen though, India is ahead of the captain. But Babar is breathing close to his neck. Kohli is currently the number five batsman in the world in Tests. Babar is at number six.
