Azam Khan Admitted To Hospital With A Head Injury After Getting a Nasty Bouncer During Practice Match
Pakistan will not be getting hard-hitter Azam Khan in the second and third T20 matches of the series against the West Indies. Azam Khan was admitted to the hospital with a head injury while facing a nasty bouncer during a practice match. As a result, the second and third matches of the series are not being played. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed Azam Khan’s injury.
Azam Khan, son of former Pakistan legend Moin Khan, was hit in the head by a fast bowler’s bouncer during practice on Friday (July 30th). He was wearing a helmet on his head at the time. However, Azam was not spared. He was rushed to hospital with head injuries.
At the hospital, the neurosurgeon recommended that Azam be kept under observation for 24 hours. His physical condition will be re-examined on Monday (August 2) to see if he can play the last match of the four-match T20 series.
