Australia tour of Bangladesh postponed, Says BCB

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said that Australia tour of two-test series against Bangladesh, which is part of the World Test Championship, postponed until June-July 2020.

“According to the Future Tours Program (FTP), we suppose to conduct two Tests in February, but now the Test series to play in June-July 2020,” BCB Cricket Operations President Akram Khan told reporters, as cited by BCB’s Cricbuzz.

Akram Khan also reported that Australia’s tour of Bangladesh for a T20I series, which scheduled for October this year, will now take place in 2021 before the eighth edition of the T20 World Cup to be held in India.

“Initially, we expected to host Australia for a two-match Twenty20 International series in October, but now they have agreed to play three T20Is that will be played before the World T20 in India, although we haven’t finished the dates yet,” Akram Khan said.
