Asif Ali has been accused of violating the CPL code of conduct

Asif Ali of Jamaica Talhawas has been accused of violating the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) code of conduct. He has been fined 20 percent of the match fee for this.

Asif lost his temper in the match against Guyana Amazon Warriors at Queens Park Oval on August 25. Asif threw the bat towards Kimo after he was dismissed by Kimo Paul in the 7th over of the innings. Asif failed the match with the bat but the team won by 5 wickets.

Asif Ali has violated Article 2.18 of the CPL Code of Conduct. What Asif has done is against the spirit of cricket. He has been fined only 20 percent of the match fee for non-sporting offenses. He is accused of violating Section 16 of the Code of Conduct.

After being unexpectedly dismissed by Paul, Asif was aggressive and so was Paul. However, Paul was not punished for this journey. As Asif’s guilt is more serious and more eye-catching, there may not have been much discussion about Paul’s aggressive behavior.
