Andre Russell could score a double century in the IPL 2020
Andre Russell could score a double century in the IPL if he gets enough ball opportunities. That is the idea of David Hussey, the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders. Not too much, it’s ridiculous that a Caribbean all-rounder can set such a record by handling at least 60 balls from the crease.
However, the former Aussie star believes that Russell will have to go to the top of the batting order for him. In fact, KKR is now looking to make some changes in the team combination and batting order. One of which was to send Russell to bat at number three.
Russell pointed to some of the team management’s wrong decisions as the team got off to a good start last year but was eventually knocked out of the fight. The Knight Riders do not want to repeat the same mistake.
Commenting on the possibility of bringing Russell into the batting order, Hussey said, “If it benefits the team and helps them win the match, why not?” If Russell batted at number three and got a chance to play 60 balls, he might have scored a double century. Anything can happen if there is a rash. ‘
Last time, Russell scored 510 runs in 13 innings at an average of 57.6. He took 11 wickets with the ball. He was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.
