Afghanistan Create a New T20 World Record
Afghanistan beat Bangladesh by 25 runs in the third match of the Tri-Nations T20 series at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. After winning their first two matches, Afghanistan is at the top of the scoring table with 8 points. with this win, Afghanistan creates a new world T20 record.

Afghanistan create a new T20 world record with its 12th consecutive T20 victory. They also held the previous record (11 consecutive wins) from March 2016 to March 2017. First, Afghanistan scored a total of 164/6 out of its 20-strike-out quota. Mohammad Nabi played brilliantly with 84 runs on 54 undefeated balls.
Mahmudullah (44) and Sabbir Rahman (24) runs led the innings in the middle of the match, but the team gained a total advantage of 139, losing 25 runs. For Afghanistan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the star player who picked up four wickets while Gulbadin Naib, Rashid Khan and Fareed Malik each sent back two batsmen.
