5 South African Players Going to IPL 2021 In The Middle of PAK vs SA ODI Series

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has already decided to release 5 South African Players for the IPL 2021 in the middle of the ongoing ODI series between Pakistan vs South Africa 2021. The first two ODIs have ended, with the series tied at 1-1. However, Quinton de Kock, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, and Anrich Nortje will not be in the Proteas squad for the series. They flew to India to take part in the upcoming IPL mission from the very beginning.

Cricket South Africa has been forced to release IPL cricketers under an agreement between the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the South African Cricket Board. Proteas cricketers playing in the IPL will fly to India from South Africa on a chartered flight.

The South African Cricket Board (CSA) decided to release the 5 for the IPL 2021 after the second ODI of the series yesterday (April 4). The CSA has already announced its decision not to include them in the T20 series.

The 14th edition of IPL 2021 Live Streaming to start on April 9. 5 experienced cricketers in the Proteas squad are leaving the country in the middle of the ongoing ODI series at home to join their respective franchises. Among the South African cricketers in the series against Pakistan, Quinton de Kock, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, David Miller, and Anrich Nortje have taken leave to play in the IPL 2021.

South Africa equalized in the bilateral ODI series at home with a great win last night. However, without these five cricketers in the series-determining or final match, the South African team will have to fight against Babar Azam.

Quinton de Kock will play for the Mumbai Indians in the 14th edition of the IPL. Fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje will play for the Delhi Capitals. David Miller will play for Rajasthan Royals. Lungi Ngidi will play in the jersey of the Chennai Super Kings.
